Street Sweeping Schedule
COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place Street Sweeping
The City is currently operating a reduced street sweeping schedule. Residential streets will be swept one time per month, and major streets such as Shoreline Boulevard and Rengstorff Avenue will be swept two times per month. During this period, parking restrictions for regularly scheduled sweeping will not be enforced.

The Mountain View Public Works Department provides your neighborhood with street-cleaning services twice a month. You can help ensure a thorough street cleaning by:
- Using your compost cart (formerly yard trimmings) as much as possible to dispose of leaves that fall on your property. Visit www.mountainview.gov/yardtrimmings for free extra collection services or call Recology at (650) 967-3034.
- Moving your vehicle off the street before 6:00 a.m. on your sweep day.
- Removing objects such as tree branches, rocks and basketball hoops from the street.
- Sweepers can only pick up leaves that fall in the roadway if they are away from the curb, and less than 3 inches high and 3 feet wide.
- Leaves left in piles in the roadway will not be picked-up unless you are in the special street sweeping zones. Call (650) 903-6329 for more information.
If your sweeping day falls on a holiday, service will continue on the next regularly scheduled sweeping day.
