Resource recycling guide
The Resource Recycling Guide is your source for information about the City of Mountain View's Recycling & Zero Waste programs and events. The Guide is mailed twice a year to all homes, apartments, and businesses in Mountain View.
NOTE: There was a misprint in the curbside calendar on page 11 of the Annual Guide mailed to homes in January 2020. A corrected calendar is available here.
The guide contains the Annual Collection Calendar, What Goes Where Guide, How to Recycle, Clean Up Programs, Household Hazardous Waste, E-Waste, Recycling Centers, and contact information for City staff and service providers. It also lists Environmental Events like paper shredding, Repair Cafe, medication disposal, and backyard home composting workshops.
