Cable Television and Internet Mountain View has agreements with two cable television franchises to provide services in the City: Comcast and AT&T. Google Fiber has recently been approved, but no service delivery information is available at this time. The City does not regulate Internet service providers in any manner and its agreement with these cable companies is a Statewide franchise authorized by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). For more information see the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Fact Sheet on State Video Franchising.
