Chief Information Officer / IT Director Biography

Roger Jensen is the City’s first Chief Information Officer/ IT Director, joining the City in January, 2014. He has more than 25 years of experience in the technology field, most recently as Senior Vice President for Technical Operations of AlphaDetail in San Mateo for seven years. Throughout his career, he has held multiple positions in software development, including staff engineer, team lead and system architect; and has successfully identified technology requirements, evaluated products and implemented hardware and software solutions.

Roger has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota and an Executive MBA from Santa Clara University.
