The Urban Water Management Plan Act requires the City of Mountain View to update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) every five years. The UWMP evaluates Mountain View’s water supply and demand and provides a blueprint for meeting the community’s long-term water supply objectives. The Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP), Chapter 8 of the UWMP, outlines the steps Mountain View will take in response to water shortage conditions.
