The City of Mountain View distributes recycled water to permitted commercial haulers through the Recycled Water Hydrant Use Program. The program operates concurrently with the City’s recycled water distribution system to maximize the use of recycled water and to conserve potable water for domestic uses. The allowable uses of recycled water and the permitting process for this program are described in the Program Guidelines.
