ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT CERTIFICATION, PUBLIC HEARING

The City of Mountain View will hold a public hearing to consider certification of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Public Safety Building, Project 20-49.

Project Description:
The proposed project would replace the existing facility with a completely new one on the same site, 1000 Villa Street. The project includes a new approximately 75,000 square-foot three-story administration building, an associated parking structure with a cold shell for a future 8-10 lane firing range, all necessary utilities, site and off-site improvements.
The EIR evaluates the potential environmental impacts of the project, including cultural resources, and identifies mitigation measures to reduce impacts where feasible.
Purpose of Hearing:
The purpose of the hearing is to consider certification of the EIR as compliant with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). See also the Public Hearing Notice published in the Daily Post here:
