The Housing and Neighborhoods Division assists the Council Neighborhoods Committee (CNC) with their Neighborhood Meetings and Neighborhood Grant Programs. These popular programs facilitate communication between the City and residents and provide funding for neighborhood events. The Committee’s goal is to promote participation, improve neighborhoods, and support and encourage neighborhood associations. Mountain View has 18 active neighborhood associations and eight of these associations began with financial assistance from the Neighborhood Grant Program.
