The Mountain View Fire Department welcomes educational and community groups to visit neighborhood fire stations. All visits must be submitted and approved through the Fire Department.
Guidelines for Requesting a Fire Station Visit
- To request a visit to an MVFD Fire Station, please complete the form below.
- Requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the desired visit date.
- Requests must be submitted by the classroom teacher.
- Station visits are intended for children ages 5 and older.
- A minimum of 1 chaperone per 5 students is required.
- Visits are available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and are unavailable from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
- All requests are subject to availability; visits cannot be scheduled on holidays.
- Visits cannot exceed one hour and may be canceled at the last minute due to emergency response.
