Chief Brian Jones

Joined the department in 2016. Chief Jones comes to us from the City of Stockton where he previously served as a Battalion Chief. Chief Jones began his career as a Firefighter with the Columbia College Fire Department and Tuolumne County Fire Department in 1993. Chief Jones has an Associate’s Degree in Fire Science, a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Management and a Master's Degree in Leadership with an Emphasis in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, he is a certified Chief Officer and Executive Chief Officer under the State of California Fire Marshal's Office and holds many specialized training certifications.

Deputy Chief Josh Coleman

Joined the department in 2026. Deputy Chief Coleman comes to us from the City of Santa Cruz, where he served as a Battalion Chief. He began his career as a firefighter/paramedic in 2005.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Fresno. He is a Fire Certified Chief Officer, Certified Training Instructor, Registered Instructor, and has been a licensed Paramedic since 2003.
