Taxi Business & Cabs

Taxi companies wishing to obtain a taxicab company permit and vehicle permits in order to provide taxi service in the City of Mountain View must submit a completed application and all required supplemental materials in person, by mail or electronically to the Finance and Administrative Services Department.

Information related to the operation of taxi cabs in the City of Mountain View, can be found in Chapter 30 of the Mountain View City Code.

Taxi drivers must apply to the Police Department for a taxi driver permit. Information regarding this process may be found on the Permit Center page.
