2025 State of the City
Hosted by the City of Mountain View, the inaugural State of the City was held the evening of Wednesday, May 21.
The 2025 event, which is free and open to the public, took place at the Mountain View Community Center's Redwood Hall, located at 201 S. Rengstorff Ave.
Community members were invited to attend in person or watch the livestream on the City's YouTube Channel, YouTube.com/MountainViewGov.
Over 200 attendees joined Mayor Ellen Kamei and City Manager Kimbra McCarthy as they highlight significant accomplishments over the last year and plans underway for building the Mountain View of tomorrow.

Program
The program for the 2025 State of the City is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

About the Event
Doors opened at 5 p.m. with the program getting underway at 6:15 p.m. The reception included City resource tables and dinner service while quantities last. Seating was available both indoors and outdoors. Seating may also have been provided in overflow rooms where the livestream would be shown.

Parking
Limited parking was available at the Mountain View Community Center and Senior Center. Attendees were encouraged to walk, bike, carpool, or use public transit. For details, view the parking map below.
Interpretation and Child Care Services
Interpretation in Spanish and Chinese was available. Child care for children, ages 7 and older, was also offered.

The City livestreamed the 2025 State of the City on the City's YouTube channel.
The recorded event will also be shown on Mountain View City Television, Comcast cable channel 26, at the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, May 28 and June 4, 12-1 p.m.
- Friday, May 30 and June 6, 7-8 p.m.
- Saturday, May 31 and June 7: 7-8 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 3 and June 10: 12-1 p.m.
