Your Help’s Needed: Let’s Make a Clean Sweep in our Streets

We need your help in keeping our streets clean.

Twice a month, the City of Mountain View Public Works Department provides each neighborhood with street cleaning services. In addition, some areas are swept more frequently so be sure to check the street sweeping map.

Here are some tips for ensuring a thorough street cleaning:

1. Move your vehicle off the street before 6 a.m. on your sweep day.
2. Pile leaves away from the curb, and limit leaf piles to less than 1 foot high by 3 feet wide.
3. Remove objects such as tree limbs, rocks and debris from the street.
4. Use your green waste bin as much as possible to dispose of leaves.
