(8:35 p.m. Update) PG&E now estimates that the power will be turned back on at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, March 27.
(Original Update) The City of Mountain View is monitoring a power outage that is affecting many PG&E customers in Mountain View on Sunday, March 27.
Earlier, there was a downed live wire off Charleston Road. Initially, power was out to roughly 865 customers in the surrounding area.
As of 8 p.m. on March 27, more than 14,000 customers were without power due to unknown causes reported by PG&E.
PG&E crews are on scene assessing the situation. There is no estimated time of restoration.
