San Francisco man arrested in connection with oxycodone pill sales

A former Mountain View resident has been arrested in connection with attempting to sell Oxycodone pills.

On Nov. 2, Crime Suppression Unit detectives with the Mountain View Police Department were made aware of an individual offering to sell Oxycodone pills via the internet. Unfortunately, these types of pills have also been increasingly linked to Fentanyl overdoses throughout the County and Bay Area.

Our detectives began an investigation and ultimately identified the suspect as 21-year-old Dalon Haley of San Francisco. Haley formerly was a Mountain View resident.

On Nov. 3, detectives contacted Haley and he was arrested without incident on the 2400 block of Charleston Road. A search of Haley’s vehicle resulted in the discovery of several bottles of various pills and cash.

Haley was booked on suspicion of possession for sales of a controlled substance, offer for sale/ transportation of a controlled substance for sale, bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility and five outstanding warrants from neighboring jurisdictions.

“Our detectives worked quickly to identify this suspect and to ensure these pills did not make it onto the streets of Mountain View,” said Lt. Armando Espitia. “I am proud of their efforts and their dedication to keeping our community safe.”
