Next Monday, June 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., our police department will be hosting a mask distribution at 1000 Villa Street.
Located in the front parking, we will be giving up to four masks per vehicle, pedestrian, or bicyclist in an effort to continue to help our community keep the curve flattened and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Yes, this is a walk-up, drive-up, and bike-up event!
We have been very lucky to have an incredibly generous community step forward to donate thousands of masks, many of which have already been distributed at schools, community-based organizations, and to those who are unstably housed.
Our goal is to continue to help keep our community safe.
Again, due to our limited quantity, we are only giving up to four masks to each vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist to help ensure that those who are able to come through later on in the day still have an opportunity to receive a mask.
As we get more donations from our community, we will continue to make every effort to help distribute masks in Mountain View.
To attend the event, please follow the cones that will be set up as you head down Franklin Street towards Villa Street -- there will be officers also on scene to help guide you to the parking lot.
Thank you in advance for your patience, for doing all you can to slow the spread of COVID-19, and for your generosity in your donations to make this event possible.
