Mountain View man arrested in connection with child pornography, molestation case

A 27-year-old Mountain View man has been arrested for molesting at least three young children, as well as for possession of nearly 100 images and videos of child pornography.

Based on this case, our detectives are concerned there may be additional victims.

Detectives began investigating a cyber tip they received back in January 2020 regarding an online account that contained suspected child pornography, some of which appeared to contain images of children as young as toddlers. The owner of the account, Victor Miller, also appeared to be having sexually explicit conversations with individuals who are suspected to be underage.

Throughout the course of our investigation, detectives learned that Miller also distributed pornographic images of children to at least one other person.

Miller was an avid user of, which he used to be hired for babysitting requests, as well as the app, an app widely used by children and one that can be frequented by child predators.

On Tuesday, April 28, Miller was arrested by Santa Clara County Sheriff's deputies on an unrelated weapons charge. We were notified of his arrest, and officers were able to interview Miller and, in a subsequent search of his home, locate additional evidence that was collected.

“No child should ever be a victim of a crime, especially ones as disturbing as what our detectives witnessed while investigating this case,” said Lt. Frank St. Clair. “We are grateful for the work our team put in to investigating this case, and we are thankful for our law enforcement partners who helped bring this suspect in.”

Miller is currently being held at the Santa Clara County Jail.

We are extremely concerned Miller may have additional victims in the area. We ask that anyone who is a victim, or who may know a victim, to please reach out to Detective Angelica Espitia at
