Pedestrian injured in collision at Shoreline and El Camino Real

One man was injured after a vehicle collided with him at the intersection of El Camino Real and Shoreline Boulevard Tuesday evening. 

Around 8:40 p.m. on Feb. 11, officers responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection involving a Black Mercedes sedan. The pedestrian, a 79-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Please note, the collision remains under investigation, and traffic officers will return to the scene today (Wednesday, Feb. 12) to conduct additional follow-up scene investigations. As we have more information to share, we will do so. 

Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the collision.
