Fourth of July traffic reminders

We wanted to share some reminders with folks who may be heading to Shoreline Amphitheatre and the surrounding North Bayshore area to enjoy the fireworks on the Fourth of July.

First and foremost, please remember the following:

-- Fireworks are prohibited.

-- Alcohol consumption is prohibited.

-- Expect heavy traffic and delays, especially between 5 p.m. and midnight due to traffic heading in and out of the amphitheatre area.

-- After the fireworks, delays out of the North Bayshore and Shoreline Amphitheatre areas may be 2 or more hours. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure everyone leaves the area safely. We know it is slow going, but we want to ensure everyone gets home safe.

In addition to all other parking restrictions/prohibitions, there will be “No Parking – Tow Away” on the following streets (All Day) July 4th:
-- Terminal Boulevard
-- San Antonio Road, north of Highway 101

Also, the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic after 5 p.m. on July 4th:
-- San Antonio Road, north of Casey Avenue
-- Terminal Boulevard (Closed All Day)
-- Broderick Avenue
-- Casey Avenue
-- Northbound Marine Way at Garcia Avenue
-- Westbound Bayshore Parkway at Garcia Avenue

Thank you, all. We hope you have a safe and happy Fourth of July. We'll be here if you need us.

Also, as a reminder once again, fireworks are not allowed in Mountain View. Please help us and your neighbors out by not setting them off. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated by all.
