The Spanish Civic Leadership Academy is a ten-week program designed to expand residents' awareness of local government, City services, and increase civic engagement, leadership, and volunteering. Each session is presented by representatives of the different City Departments. Some presentations will be translated simultaneously.

The 2019 Civic Leadership Academy will meet every Wednesday from 5:15-8:30 pm, from March 20 through May 22. The sessions will be held in localities of the City according to the subject that is covered. A light dinner will be offered and classes are free to the public. The space, limited to 25 participants, will be awarded to the first 25 participants who submit the application. The deadline to apply is February 22, 2018.
