Library Card Registration

Library Card Registration in Spanish

If current address verification is not immediately available but picture ID is available, a limited card can be issued, which allows a checkout limit of two items and use of library computers.  Once address verification is provided, the two-item limit will be removed.

Children 12 and under may obtain a library card in person with a parent or a guardian. Children 13 and older will need to provide their photo identification to obtain a card.

Limited cards are also issued to customers who reside permanently outside California and who do not have verification of a local address.

Library card applications are available online and at the Library. Visit the Customer Service Desk or the Bookmobile to complete your registration.

Library cardholders must abide by the City of Mountain View Library Card and Borrowing Policy.
