Library cards are free to all California residents.
To get a Library card, current photo identification is required.
If you live out of state, a limited card can be issued, which allows a checkout limit of two items and the use of library computers and eResources.
Children 12 and under may obtain a library card in person with a parent or a guardian. Children 13 and older will need to provide their photo identification to obtain a card.
Library card applications are available online and at the Library. Visit the Customer Service Desk or the Bookmobile to complete your registration.
Library cardholders must abide by the City of Mountain View Library Card and Borrowing Policy.
