       CITY HALL IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS

            On July 12, the Finance and Administrative Services Department reopened for business to the public subject to certain conditions regarding social distancing and wearing of face coverings.  Unvaccinated visitors to City Hall are required to use a face covering while inside the building and maintain social distancing.  Business needs can also be handled as noted below.             

 

To pay for utility bills visit www.mountainview.gov/utilitybill or call 1-855-288-0315.  In person payments can be made at City Hall.  Due to Social Distancing rules, one customer is allowed in the office at a time.  Office hours are 8:00 am through 5:00 pm.

 

To pay for invoices, business license renewals or Building/Planning/Public Works permits, visit www.mountainview.gov/miscpayments.

 

To apply for a business license visit www.mountainview.gov and click on “HOW DO I…”, then “Apply For… Business Licenses”. 

            

If you have not received a business license renewal, or cannot pay your business license renewal at www.mountainview.gov/miscpayments, please fill out the business license application, include your business license number, and email the completed, signed application to BusinessLicense@mountainview.gov.

Revenue processes billing and revenue collection for the City's water, wastewater, and solid waste utilities; business licenses; transient occupancy tax; utility users tax; property transfer tax; and miscellaneous accounts receivable. All monies and fees due to, or collected by, other City departments are forwarded to this section for deposit to the bank and entry into the City's financial system. In addition, this section is the Finance and Administrative Services Department's primary customer service contact point.
