Mountain View Tennis (MVT) has managed the largest facility at Cuesta Tennis Center and all city-wide tennis recreation programs since 2009. Junior Team Tennis League

The City of Mountain View sponsors a junior tennis league for youth 8-16 years old in the spring and in the fall. Players trying out should be able to rally moderately paced balls at least 3 or 4 times from baseline and be able to serve with moderate success.

Registration:  Tuesday, February 25 & Wednesday, February 26
Time:  7-9 p.m.
Place:  Cuesta Tennis Center Clubhouse
Cost:  $75 MV residents, $85 non-residents
Ages: 8-16 years
Tryouts:  Tuesday, March 3, 6:30 p.m. at Cuesta Tennis Center
Dates of Play:  Tuesdays, March 17 through May 12 (excl 4/7); Thursdays, May 7 and May 14
Place:  Cuesta Tennis Center, 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Practice:  1-hr/week (day/time TBD)

Tennis Advisory Board (TAB)

Approved by City Council, the community TAB was developed to advise staff regarding tennis programs, facilities and services. The TAB meets quarterly throughout the year.

TAB meetings

TAB Meetings will be held quarterly on the second Thursday of February, May, August and November.

Due to COVID-19, meetings will be held virtually with no meeting location, until further notice. Instructions for joining the meeting are listed on the meeting agenda.

The City of Mountain View Tennis Advisory Board will advise City staff by providing feedback about tennis and other racket sport programs. As a member of TAB, you will help advise City staff, provide a balanced perspective on tennis and pickleball programs, facilities, and services, and be involved in promoting programs and services offered by the City. City staff is seeking two applicants from the tennis and/or pickleball community.
