The City of Mountain View Senior Center is continuously recruiting for Front Desk and Technology Room volunteers. These positions are especially fitting for retirees who want to connect and be active in the aging community, those looking to keep their administrative and social skills sharp and high school students looking to give back to their community. 

Front Desk Volunteer

• Oversee front desk (welcoming patrons, answering phones, fielding questions).
• Making appointments for free social services and workshops.
• Connecting seniors with valuable information and resources. 

Technology Room Volunteer

• Assistance with electronic devices (computers, tablets and phones). 
• Answering technology related questions. 
• Aid patrons with composing emails, Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and more. 

Special Projects

• Eagle scout projects
• Gardening projects
• Workshops
