On Thursday, April 8, City of Mountain View will be performing semiannual maintenance and moving the bulkhead at Eagle Park Pool from 8:00am-2:00pm. Lap Swim appointments will be unavailable during this time. Normal programming will resume at 5:00pm.
Mountain View Aquatics will be hosting appointment based swim lesson assessments in March and April at Eagle Park Pool. Instructors will test each participant and make appropriate recommendations for swim level registration. The assessment can take upwards of 5 minutes. Each household will only need to register for 1 timeslot as multiple kids within the household can be accommodated.
As of June 5, Santa Clara County and the State of California permitted public pools to open for limited programs. The City of Mountain View anticipate opening Eagle Park Pool beginning Saturday, June 20 for an expanded lap swim program, which includes an appointment system, limited indoor facility use and social distancing protocols. Please complete the below form in its entirety to sign up for an upcoming lap swim session at Eagle Park Pool. All sessions will start on the hour and be a maximum 45 minutes long.Patrons are limited to one (1) session per day, three (3) sessions per week. Please note, lap swimming is available for adults aged 18 and older.
Due to high demand, lap swim appointments have filled rapidly. If there are no appointments available indicated on the website, please check back at a later time as more appointments may be added as staff and resources allow. Lap swim appointments will only be visible on the website up to two (2) weeks in advance, although the appointment calendar will default to state “no appointments” beyond this time frame.
Advance payment or credit card payments on-site are preferred. If you have a swim pass, please make sure it is current and you have your ID number available upon. To ensure social distancing, each swimmer will have individual lanes. Please indicate “ADA Access” in the Lap Swim Appointment Form and upon entrances for requests regarding swim ladder, stairs, ADA lift or other assistance and staff will do their best to accommodate requests with other lane assignments.
Social/physical distancing and wearing of a mask will be enforced on pool deck and within the restrooms. Please come prepared to swim as the locker rooms and showers will be closed for use.
