Ushers help to make the theatergoing experience memorable and enjoyable for patrons. An usher's duties include greeting patrons, taking tickets, assisting patrons with seating, hearing device distribution, and merchandise sales. Usher training is offered twice a year in the spring and fall.
Lobby Hosts provide staffing for MVCPA’s Visual Arts exhibition space on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 12 noon to 1 PM. Admission to the exhibits featuring local artists is free to the public. Hosts may join the program at anytime during the year. The exhibits are designed to offer viewers a self-guided tour, so art knowledge isn’t required.
