The enthusiasm and dedication of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts' 300 volunteers help to make MVCPA a success. Join the fun and support the arts by becoming an MVCPA usher or lobby host.

USHERS

Ushers help to make the theater-going experience memorable and enjoyable for patrons. An usher's duties include greeting patrons, taking tickets, assisting patrons with seating, hearing device distribution and merchandise sales. Potential volunteers are required to attend two consecutive training sessions that are offered multiple times a year. For more information, please email audienceservices@mvcpa.com

LOBBY

Lobby Hosts provide staffing for MVCPA’s Visual Arts exhibition space on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Admission to the exhibits featuring local artists is free to the public. Hosts may join the program at anytime during the year. The exhibits are designed to offer viewers a self-guided tour, so art knowledge isn’t required.
