Interfaith in Mountain View: Shared Values Among Faiths

Presented by Islamic Networks Group

Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 pm

Moderated by Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian, join us for an interfaith panel consisting of Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and Christian representatives who will offer a brief overview of their religious communities and discuss the human and ethical values they share with one another. Through this discussion they will demonstrate that, despite profound differences of belief and practice, all their traditions promote common values that are vitally important today.

This panel illustrates the possibility, and indeed the necessity, for diverse religions to join together in a common effort for a more harmonious and peaceful world.

The session will also include a period of Q&A with the audience.

This panel is co-sponsored by the City of Mountain View.

Doors open at 6 pm.

Free, but registration is requested HERE
