Virtual Concert with Andy z

Join us on Friday, October 30 at 7 p.m. for a free, virtual concert with Andy Z. The concert will be viewable online on the City of Mountain View YouTube page

Plaza haunt

From October 19 to November 2, Pioneer Park and Civic Center Plaza will be transformed with spook-tacular displays that residents can explore at their leisure. Bring the family to check out the boo-tiful photo stops and startling décor.

Trick or Treat Trivia night

Dying to have fun?! Trick or Treat Trivia Night is coming on October 23, 2020 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. This event will feature challenging and spooky trivia questions about monsters, ghosts, goblins and things that go bump in the night. Grab your favorite ghouls and put your hauntingly smart team together. Only the team captain needs to register. This event is free to participate. Register your team here:

Spooky Times at deer hollow farm

There's something spooky happening at Deer Hollow Farm! Farmer Lisa needs to finish her farm chores, but there are creepy critters in the barns, spooky sounds are all around, and monsters are taking over the Farm. Join us on a virtual tour of Deer Hollow Farm that will lead you through spooky barns, introduce you to the farm's livestock, and close encounters with freaky farm monsters! Perfect for families with young ones. The virtual tour will be viewable online at on October 24.

Home decorating contest

You're invited to join the spookiest home decorating contest around. During the evenings from October 12-18, 2020, judges drove around Mountain View to vote for their favorite homes in the following categories: Spirit of Mountain View, Horror House Award, Top Pumpkin Display, and  Ghouls Choice. Now that judging is complete, Mountain View residents are invited to drive by these fang-tabulous houses. To see which houses participated, check out our PDF map or an optional route.The winners and runners-up have received a custom sign to be placed in their yard or entry way.

Spooky Stories with Mountain View public library

Hear spooky, kid-friendly stories with your MVPL librarians! There are two different Zoom sessions for our youngest and school-aged residents. Registration is required. Click the links below to register.
