In December 2019, the City Council authorized city staff to update three sub-areas of the Downtown Precise Plan, including A, H, and G. The updates are focused on strengthening the preservation of the existing historic character of Downtown Mountain View and promote active ground-floor uses, such as retail and personal services.
The Precise Plan Update is anticipated to conclude in 2022. The process will include stakeholder meetings, a historic survey, economic analysis, and series of public meetings with EPC and City Council.
