(Mountain View, Calif.) — On March 27, the City of Mountain View passed an Eviction Moratorium to protect renters with COVID-related hardships from being evicted during the pandemic. The moratorium was in line with other Bay Area cities and Santa Clara County in that it was set to expire on May 31. As such, a Special Council Meeting will be held on Friday, May 29 starting at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss extending eviction protections until a later date.
