In summertime, fairy tales and other children's stories come to life on the Center's outdoor Parkstage. Enjoy a different 45-minute production each week performed by young actors from PYT's "Theatre in the Park" summer camp program. Bring the kids, a picnic dinner and a blanket to sit on for a fun way to start the weekend for the whole family.

July 2: The King Who Loved His Lollipops
The King just has to have his chocolate-covered, coconut coated, peanut butter lollipops! But no one in the kingdom can make them... isn't there anyone who can help?? Find out in this fun comedy loosely based on Rumpelstiltskin.

July 10: The Emperor's New Clothes
A vain and silly king is duped by some clever con men into buying an extravagant suit he can't even see!

July 17: The Firebird
Prince Ivan is on a quest to free the beautiful Firebird. Will he succeed? And who will he meet on his journey?

July 24: Folk Tales for Fun
Get lost in the magic and fun of other lands in this tour of tales from around the world.

July 31: Fairy Gifts
A flower fairy bestows a special gift on every Prince and Princess. Find out how they use their gifts in this enchanting fairy tale!

This fresh, smooth talking feline is ready to give his master an extravagant makeover and turn him from drab to fab! This hysterical musical re-telling of the classic tale is the cat's miaow!

Come meet us in the woods this summer as classic fairytale characters like Cinderella, Little Red, and Rapunzel take a journey to get everything they've ever wanted — but learn on the way that sometimes "the things you most wish for are not to be touched." Beautifully composed by Steven Sondheim, Into the Woods is a fairy tale that children and grown-ups can appreciate.
