The Spanish Civic Leadership Academy is an eight-week program designed to expand residents' awareness of local government, City services, and increase civic engagement, leadership, and volunteering. Each session is presented by representatives of the different City Departments. Some presentations will be translated simultaneously.

The 2018 Civic Leadership Academy will meet every Wednesday from 5:30-8:00 pm, from March 21 through May 23. The sessions will be held in localities of the City according to the subject that is covered. A light dinner will be offered and classes are free to the public. The space, limited to 30 participants, will be awarded to the first 30 participants who submit the application. The deadline to apply is February 23, 2018.
