Some Ways to Partner with the MVCPA

The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts plays an integral part in the Mountain View Business sector, attracting audiences to 400+ events a year at our 600 seat MainStage, 200 Seat SecondStage, 300 seat outdoor amphitheater ParkStage, rehearsal studio and lobby spaces. These same Center attendees patronize stores and restaurants in the city (before and after events), contributing significantly to the City’s overall economic success. The Center is always looking for ways to help leverage the creative and collaborative synergy of the surrounding businesses for mutual benefit. Here are a few ways you can help us help you!

Simple Promotion of Events:

  • Display print collateral (Preview Magazines/event posters/rack cards) at your business (windows, lobby, breakrooms, tables, check holders, bulletin boards etc.)
  • Include Center events and a link to MVCPA.com in your employee newsletters, on your intra/internet and email communications
  • Follow us on Facebook

Cross Market with a Show/Season:

  • Provide an incentive to show-goers to “make a night of it” with a discount, freebie, or prefix menu
  • Hold a themed class, happy hour or entertainment before or after a Center event
  • Host a reception or after party with or for the cast/artists of the Center event

Advertise with Us:

  • Buy ads in our Preview Magazine (20K-25K mail and community distribution every 4 months)
  • Lobby (board and digital)
  • Website Home Page Main Slide (2,500+ views a month)
  • eSpotlight email newsletter (1-2 times a month, sent to 8K+ subscribers)
  • Advertise on our Ticket Stock (45K+ a year), Online Print at Home Ticket (10K+ a year) or Ticket Reminder Email (sent 24 hours prior to each customer for each event, 50K+ a year)

Be a Sponsor:

  • Underwrite/subsidize a festival, a new performing arts group, or a free sensory-friendly performance of a show
  • Consider naming rights to anyone of our theaters, rooms, lobbies or seats
  • Donate or underwrite equipment, equipment upgrades (TV screens in the lobby), or a new marquee

Attend a Show:

  • Shows make great department/group/team outings
  • Purchase tickets/vouchers as employee rewards or holiday gifts

Donate:

  • Donate a gift certificate or provide a coupon for our annual volunteer appreciation event
  • Donate food for a city sponsored event at the Center or our annual volunteer appreciation event

Rent a Stage, Lobby or Rehearsal Hall
