You may also drop off extra recycling at the Mountain View Recycling Center, 935 Terra Bella Avenue, near Shoreline Boulevard and Highway 101.

Sorry, extra recycling will not be collected in bags outside the cart because drivers operate fully-automated trucks with mechanical arms (except during holiday recycling after Christmas Day--call Foothill for dates).

If you occasionally have extra garbage, you can purchase an extra garbage sticker from most local Safeway, Lucky's, Nob Hill, and Rite-Aide stores as well as from the City Finance & Administrative Services Department, the Library (circulation desk), and Foothill Disposal at 935 Terra Bella Avenue (Tues-Sat 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
