Volunteer Opportunities

There are no volunteer opportunites available at this time.  Please check back soon!

MVPD has an exciting volunteer program with opportunities to perform vital functions in many police units. It's a fun way to help your police department and your community. You can also gain valuable training and experience in law enforcement. You'll be treated like a real member of the department, and like a VIP (Volunteers in Partnership) for your generous donation of time.

Volunteer Uniforms
Primary VIP uniform: white Polo shirt with an embroidered police star with navy slacks.

Handicap Area Parking Patrol (HAPP): white uniform shirt with black pants.

Becoming a Volunteer
There are no volunteer opportunities available at this time.  Please check back soon!

To get started, just fill out the volunteer/intern application and email, FAX or mail it to the MVPD. Once we receive your application, you'll be contacted by a member of the volunteer program.
