Services & Education

MVPD is a full-service police organization, providing a variety of specialized services and programs that go beyond the traditional officer working a beat.

Programs include free security inspections for homes and businesses, as well as crime prevention presentations on topics ranging from workplace violence to personal safety and home security.

Residents may participate in police officer ride-alongs to see first hand the important and sometimes difficult role officers play in keeping our community safe.

Other services help protect our children, such as child fingerprinting and our gun lock give-away program.

The department offers numerous other programs and services. To learn more please explore our Web pages. Be sure to let us know if you're interested in any of our programs. We're eager to help!
