| The Library offers access to Northern California Digital Library, a collection of eBooks and digital audio books that you can download to your personal computer, laptop, or other portable device (except iPod). Using your Mountain View Public Library card, you can check out digital audio books in the OverDrive Media Console™ format, and eBooks in the Adobe® Reader® and Mobipocket Reader formats. Up to five titles at a time may be "checked out." To download eBooks and digital audio books from the Northern California Digital Library, you will need: - A valid Mountain View Public Library card
- Access to the Internet
- Free software for your computer and/or the device on which you wish to use the digital books
Please note: - You will not be able to use digital books before you download the free software
- Digital books may used on the device of your choice, but may not be used on the Library's computers
- iPods are not supported.
