Visit the Library's Tax Information page for resources on where to get forms and tax assistance. | Important Change to the Way You Receive Federal Benefit Payments | The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently announced that all federal benefits will be paid electronically. Anyone applying for federal benefits will need to choose an electronic payment method at the time they apply for their benefit, while anyone currently receiving paper checks must switch by March 1, 2013. People already receiving benefit payments electronically do not need to take further action. They will continue to receive their payment as usual on their payment date.
