After School Programs

The City of Mountain View Recreation Division provides after school programs at four elementary schools and two middle schools.

The City provides after school programming for youth to experience social interaction, create a safe place for youth while parents are at work, positive adult role model interaction, a sense of belonging, increase self esteem, positive peer influence and a community who values youth!

Beyond the Bell After School Program
Beyond the Bell After School Program is offered at Crittenden Middle School, Castro Elementary, Landels Elementary, Monta Loma Elementary, and Theuerkauf Elementary. The program consists of various components including homework assistance, recreation activities, technology, and enrichment activities. This is a free after school program offered in cooperation with the Mountain View-Whisman School District.

Our goals are for each student to...
-Develop effective homework/study routines
-Develop and enhance individualized study skills
-Build confidence and self-esteem
-Learn to take responsibility for their actions

-Grow by participating in new challenges

Tween Time After School Program at Graham Middle School - Graham Students ENROLL TODAY!
Graham Tween Time Program is a free, supervised, drop in after school program sponsored by the City of Mountain View Recreation Division. This program is offered to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders attending Graham Middle School. Program takes place everyday after school until 6:00 pm beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and runs until Friday, May 28, 2010.

The Tween Time program provides your child with a well-rounded experience each day after school. Please review the Tween Time brochure for more information about the program:   English      Spanish

TO REGISTER:

1) Complete a registration form for your student. You may obtain a form by downloading the pdf here:

or you may obtain a form at the front office at Graham Middle School or in Tween Time Room #41.
2) Return your form to the front office at Graham Middle School or to Tween Time staff in Room #41.
3) Once your form is turned in, your child is ready to begin!
