The City of Mountain View celebrates Arbor Day on the second Saturday of March at Pioneer Park.The event includes:

• a ceremonial planting of an Arbor Day tree
• environmental education booths
• live music and activities for children including face painting, arts, crafts, games and stories
• information booths to learn more about trees and urban forestry, composting, recycling
• a tree climbing demonstration by the city's forestry operation
