Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee is to:

  • Promote the development and maintenance of the City's bikeway and pedestrian facilities;
  • Promote bicycling as an alternative means of transportation;
  • Ensure sensitivity to bicycle and pedestrian issues in the design and implementation of public works projects impacting cyclists and pedestrians; and
  • Propose, review and prioritize bicycle and pedestrian projects for annual Transportation Development Act funding.
